Mount Painter
Event Date:
13 December, 2015 - 09:00 to 12:30
On the north hill slope behind the houses in Skinner Street

We will be weeding in the woodland of Yellow Box, Stringybarks, Native Cherries and Sheoaks on the north slope of the hill. This is one of the better areas of native vegetation on Mt Painter where some of the ACT's rare and protected species grow, for example, the Yellow Burr Daisy and Large Tick-trefoil. Cleaning out the Hoary Mustard, Verbascum and thistles will leave more space for the natives.

Enter the reserve by the entrance between 20 and 22 Booth Crescent and follow the track uphill to te meeting location. We will be working on the slope below the track.
