Background: Gindilanwari Dunlop Microforest Carers Group started in 2025 with the creation of the microforest, supported by the Microforest Collective and assistance from Ginninderra Catchment Group. The microforest was originally funded thanks to a Nature in the City – Cooling Your Suburb grant and some funds from Carbon Positive Australia.
