Ginninderra Catchment Group supports rural Landcare Groups in Sutton, Hall and Wallaroo.
These groups work to protect common space within their community, but also get together to learn new techniques and skills to manage there own properties in the most sustainable ways.
GCG has provided assistance is running workshops aimed specifically at the rural community, covering topics such as low cost erosion control techniques, sustainable horse management, pasture management, weed identification and regenerative agriculture.
In addition, in recent years GCG has run targeted projects, including Serrated Tussock Control in Hall and a very popular series of Indigenous walks in the Sutton area.
